Although MAGIE (August 22-23, 2012) may be the highlight for IFCA Summer events, we are organizing other events for IFCA members to participate. IFCA golf outings are scheduled for July 26 at Seneca's Oak Ridge Golf Course and August 2 at Decatur's Scovill Golf Course. If you are not a golfer then grab your shotgun and participate in the first annual IFCA trap shoot. The first trap shoot will be held on September 13 at the Downer's Grove Sportsmen's Club in Morris, IL. The second trap shoot will be held on September 20 at the Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill, IL. The golf outing and trap shoot registration forms will be mailed next week.

 

In addition to the golf outings and trap shoots IFCA will be hosting a Mark Stivers Memorial motorcycle ride in honor of past IFCA Board Member and Helena Chemical Company employee Mark Stivers. Mark was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and helped organize past rides and we know he would be honored for this event to happen. The two day and one night event will occur on September 11-12. The ride will take you through and around the scenic Galena, IL area. More details will follow, but we would like you to call or email Leslie, leslief@ifca.com if you are interested. We need IFCA member participation to make this a memorable event.  Sign up deadline for the motorcycle ride is Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
