March/April 2026 Illinois Pesticide Review: Pesticide Training & Testing Still Available
The latest Pesticide Safety and Education Program (PSEP) Illinois Pesticide Review highlights an important reminder for applicators and operators to confirm certification as the growing season gets underway. Only two in-person training clinics remain this spring for general standards training. Those still needing training should plan to register soon before these final opportunities are filled.
After the clinic season wraps up, you still have options. Online training courses will remain available through August 31, and self-study materials offer another path for those who prefer to prepare on their own schedule.
Testing can be completed either through in-person, test-only sessions offered by the Illinois Department of Agriculture or through online, proctored exams available around the clock for most categories.
