Dicamba and Paraquat Label Training

If you are going apply dicamba to soybean, or paraquat in 2021, and need to obtain label specific training, look no further.  You must take dicamba training annually, and paraquat training once every 3 years.  To access the on-line training for either product, visit ifca.com and click on the “Training” tab.  In the drop-down menu, you will find training tabs for each product that will direct you to links for both the on-line training as well as important additional information for both products.

Also, we want to remind everyone the importance of the new dicamba restrictions for 2021.  For applications made in fields that are not in counties deemed to have endangered species, the 240-foot buffer applies.  But for fields within one of the 18 counties listed as having endangered species, a 310-foot downwind buffer and 57-foot omnidirectional buffer are required.  Also, corn cannot be included in the downwind or omni-directional buffers which is a major change.
