IFCA Remembers Dave Junge
We were so saddened this week to learn of the passing of Dave Junge, the creator and owner of Junge Control. Dave was battling pancreatic cancer; he was only 62.
We remember Dave not just for the innovation and improvements that he brought to our industry, but for his optimism, his great smile and laugh, and his passion for agriculture. He never missed a MAGIE show or IFCA convention, and that was just in Illinois--he was a presence at industry events throughout the country, for so many years. We were all happy for Dave when he sold his business to AGI in 2018, and he was prepared to enjoy a busy and rewarding retirement. He deserved a much longer life and he will be dearly missed. We send our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Mary, their son Matthew and all those who worked closely with Dave during his 40 years in business.
Dave's obituary is here: https://www.teahenfuneralhome.com/obituary/david-junge. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. In these trying times with weather delays and business frustrations, thinking about Dave today is a reminder that life is precious and that keeping a positive attitude about agriculture is the example that he always set and lived by, no matter what's going on in the world.
