Classroom Dicamba Training

There are some classroom trainings scheduled in Illinois to fulfill the annual dicamba specific training requirement on the labels.  Please help communicate to your grower customers that last year's dicamba training does not count!  The applicator training that UI offers for both private and commercial applicators also does not count toward the dicamba training requirement.

Because on-line training will also be accepted at some point when the registrants make it available, there will likely be far fewer classroom events compared to last year.  But classroom training is still the preferred method particularly with all the new label changes including the endangered species considerations, the new definitions of sensitive areas and the new recordkeeping requirements.

There are several dicamba training classes next week in Rock Falls, Carmi, Olney and DeKalb.  Please go to the IFCA's Illinois Dicamba Training website here to see the available classes and please spread the word with your customers.  Several ag retailers are hosting a class and enabling others to also attend by listing the class on IFCA's website.  We appreciate those who are willing to do this, and if you are working with the registrants to offer training and want to open your class to others, please call us at 309.827.2774.
