Spring Ammonia Training Classes

Beginning in February, IFCA and the IL Dept of Ag are offering eight opportunities for you to receive a competent attendant certificate from IDA, which is required of any person working with anhydrous ammonia.  The certificate is good for 3 years. Feb 21 at Mendota Civic Center
Feb 22 at Holiday Inn, East Peoria
Feb 23 at Holiday Inn, Quincy
Feb 24 at Poe's Catering in Springfield
Feb 27 at The Pavilion in Marion
Feb 28 at the KC Hall in Effingham
March 1 at Unique Suites in Charleston
March 2 at Asmark Agricenter in Bloomington

These courses cover all aspects of ammonia safety as well as a review of recent incidents and compliance issues noted by IDA inspection staff in the course of their duties overseeing the ammonia industry.  It's a great learning opportunity so get registered and prepared for spring!
