The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) announced that they will host again the pesticide clean sweep program this summer. The program, funded by a grant obtained from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is free and designed to collect unwanted agricultural pesticides.

 

This year collections will take place in Bureau, Carroll, Henry, JoDaviess, Lasalle, Lee, Ogle, Rock Island, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago Counties.

 

Participants must pre-register products intended for disposal using this form prior to the collection date of July 26^th. The collection period typically runs from 8:30am until 2:00pm.
