In response to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit’s order for an analysis of the use of chlorpyrifos, the EPA has decided to ban use of the pesticide on food crops, including corn and soybeans.  EPA stated that within six months, farmers and retailers will no longer be allowed to use this product.
