Applicator Training Center Open; Next Classes Start June 27

Thanks to our partnership with the Asmark Institute, Illinois now has another specialized training center focused on assisting ag retailers with education, safety and compliance needs.  A special launch event was held on June 12 for the new training center, which features many hands-on training exercises plus a training track for application equipment.  Click here to see a short story on the Training Center, which includes a birds-eye view of a pesticide applicator navigating the obstacle course.  Special thanks to our friends at Illinois Farm Bureau for producing this story to share.

The Training Center is also sponsored by AGCO, whose generous donation helped make this training center possible.  But rest assured, all types of application equipment are featured in the course including the RoGator, TerraGator, Case Patriot, John Deere and HAGIE.  Dry fertilizer calibration training is also included in the course, rounding out all the fundamental training needs of professional application for both pesticides and fertilizers.

The course is limited to 20 students at a time to ensure quality training and attention to the participants.  Click here to see the course curriculum and to register for the upcoming courses.  THE NEXT TRAINING CLASS WILL START ON JUNE 27 so please take advantage of this opportunity for your newer operators and register today.  This center is here in Illinois so we hope IFCA members will find great value in the close proximity of this one of a kind training center.  We all know it isn't going to get easier when it comes to agrichemical application, and the role of the professional applicator is vital to our industry's overall success, as well as to the success of the farmers who rely upon precise application of agrichemicals to enhance their yields and profitability.
