Yesterday there might have been some confusion on markings on nurse tanks that are enrolled into the NTIP program.  The DOT-SP 13554 is no longer required as a marking on the side of the nurse tanks.  However certain markings listing the inspection date, along with the types of inspections performed are required.  This is required for nurse tanks that have a missing or illegible data plate.  Click here for examples of current markings that are acceptable and markings that would be considered a violation. Please contact John Rebholz if you have any questions.
