We were so sorry to learn of the sudden passing of Randy Klenke, the co-owner of Hamel Seed & Farm Supply in Worden, IL on March 19.  Randy was 62 years old.   

 

Randy lived his entire life in the southwestern Illinois area, and not only helped manage the ag retail business but also farmed and was very active in the community, serving on the volunteer fire department for 30 years, and was a church leader at Trinity Lutheran in Worden.  He was a strong supporter of the IFCA and never missed an IFCA convention.  Anyone fortunate enough to know Randy knew of his warmth, his ever-present smile, his optimistic outlook on life no matter what was going on, and his care for the industry and his customers.  He truly lived and represented all that is good about a family-owned, independent business and he will be deeply missed.
