EPA Administrator Thinks Dicamba Will Remain in Farmers’ Toolbox

The head of the US Environmental Protection Agency says he is hopeful new oversight put in place regarding dicamba herbicides will keep dicamba in the farmer’s tool box.
 
Last October, as several states were investigating spray drift complaints, the EPA decided to classify dicamba as a “restricted use” pesticide, among other new oversight requirements for record keeping, and application weather conditions.
 
EPA administrator Scott Pruitt says the future of dicamba looks encouraging.
