An important role of NREC is to invest in research that keeps our nutrient recommendation system current and representative of the production systems we have in place.  NREC funded a multi-year project to collect grain samples and evaluate the grain content of P & K.  The bulletin is available here and is posted along with other UI nutrient bulletins that we've shared throughout this growing season.  IFCA's Keep it 4R Crop menu on our website hosts these bulletins and all are tied back to current research underway in Illinois.
