Getting Credit for Out of State Meetings
A National Continuing Education Unit Committee has been formed to approve national programs involving more than 6 states and the Illinois State Board will accept those hours also. If you attend a meeting in a state which does not adjoin Illinois and the meeting has not received national approval, you can report the hours as self-directed or ask the coordinator of the meeting to apply for credits from the Illinois State Board. The meeting provider must request that the states CCA board submit their approval numbers to Illinois. The Illinois State Board will then determine whether a new Illinois number needs to be assigned or if you can submit the approval number already given to the program in that state. administered by Last Updated:05/02/05 |
